Ok Mark, I've added my comments to the article. But I'm not sure when it will be posted. Hopefully soon....

I personally only talk about Astronomy as the last venue to benefit by these new ideas of better lighting systems. So that's the route I took. It's my hope that it benefits your comments and makes the suggestion of replacing these older lights with a better system much more supportively.

Otherwise great story Mark.

We have a good interest in this topic in the lower mainland right now.

I was asked to do an interview with CKWX 1130am last night and now it is being aired. I have had calls and emails with support and questions.

I ask again for any memebers of the FVAS to step up and make some noise on this. It is a perfect venue.

It only take a few minutes and could be the voice that pushes the doors wide open on this topic.

Please Please Please send in comments, good or bad.

Add similar comments for you Mark from the previous article. You're doing an awesome job here. So much so I think I'll just step aside and let you work it. hahaa
Had I known you were so interested in light pollution I would have made you our spokesman for the FVAS.

But in hind sight the RASC is such a large organization it has more teeth for this issue than I could muster. So give em hell man...

Listening to the news right now...but haven't heard it yet.

Hi Mark,

I took the suggestion you made at the November FVAS Dinner Meeting and added a comment to the Georgia Strait article.

Thanx for speaking out on the topic of light pollution abatement!!

Clear (& dark) skies,
~Phill
